Cracked games!

I was wondering today about hacked / cracked games, I know it is illegal to hack a game and distribute it for free but is it illegal to use that hacked free games as a user? I don't do this since I think that a hacked game takes a lot away from the original game but this topic came to mind and I wanted to know

I think it really depends where you're located @
Here in Germany its illegal and can get u up to 5 years in prison.

just pay for the game its the right thing to do. and then you dont have to worry about viruses.

my advice to not have people start this post into a huge problem is contact an admin like slick or linus and have them close the thread.

Personally i only crack games to see if my computer can handle the game and if the games looks good before i buy it if it doesnt have a demo or trial.

Cracked games feel very unorganized in my opinion. It doesn't have that "pure" feeling (obviously)- haha.

Thats what a political party here in sweden is aiming to "fix".

Piratpartiet or "The Pirate Party" is for file sharing and such

and are getting alot of attention here in sweden, Both good and bad.
