What CPU(s) Are You Running in Your Build(s)?

I have 2 Dell u2412m's running at 1900x1200, performance wise it is beating the stock 780 I had.

Well two 760's will beat a 780 though lol. Sounds like you're happy with them though. :) If you do get a 3rd one, hopefully everything works out ok. ^^

fx-8350 at 4.7ghz. I went with it instead of an i5 because it was cheaper, allowing me to fit a 780 into my budget.

Smart thinking. Though the 8350 will be great at streaming compared to the i5 if you ever plan on doing that.

- i7 2600 @3.4ghz (main rig, used for pretty much everything and more by me and me alone save emergencies)

- Core 2 duo *can't remember the number* @2.5ghz (family pc, no dedicated gpu, used for office and internet browsing)

- pentium 4 HT @3.2ghz (older rig without dedicated gpu, used as emergency when either of the pcs above is in maintenance or is doing uninterruptible work and as test bench for linux distros)

- pentium M @1.5ghz (half dead laptop that we keep because we can, still works fine and has a dedicated ati gpu I can't remember the name of, only the battery is completely gone so it needs to be plugged in all the time)

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I'm hoping to move to 3 way 27' monitors soon so the extra power may help

yeah i know, i have a 280x in it now and really i dont feel much of a hit, but im not going to go out and buy a new one now becasue it is more than fine for me

Oh well no dude, obviously keep it now. I wouldn't change that CPU for another year or 2 if I were you. That build will be pretty good for awhile, though you said you were going to upgrade your GPU already?

Ah,i see. Spending a bunch of money for a motherboard for a dead socket seems a bit meaningless doesn't it? ;)

It'll make it, don't you worry xD
