Quick poll <ssd or Case>

Current case Thermaltake M5 

• Have no cable management but some how managed (Not good) 
• Need some more space for Cooler Master V6 cooler but currently fits 
• Interior is very old school 
• No motherboard back plate cut 

 <Price of both is almost same>

Current storage 1tb HDD WD blue  and 500 GB green     

• Slow start up 
• slow application launch 
• motherboard is only Sata 2 (Not 3)

PC hardware enthusiasts care more about looks than performance. That doesn't mean their minds are fucked. My case may cost more than my graphics card, but you know what? At least it looks better than whatever piece of crap you have sitting at your desk.

It won't work as well as it can, but it's still WAY faster than any hdd.

If you will be upgrading around that time, you will probably be buying a Sata Express SSD or M.2 SSD and not a Sata III SSD.

Get the SSD, get a cheaper case later.
My motherboard is also only SATA 2 and I got an Intel 520 in there, worlds better than a slow HDD. Just because the overall speed of the SSD is slower on SATA 2 compared to 3, the random read and writes are so much faster than a HDD it's not even funny.

No you are a gaming enthusiast. Gamers care about performance and don't care how their PC looks. True PC enthusiasts care about aesthetics too which is why people build PCs like this that are also a work of art:

If I had the money I would get a nice looking case and components, at the moment I don't. So I will devote it to performance, for sure if I had money I would make it look good.

Yup, that makes you a PC enthusiast, not just a gamer. A PC is more than just performance, but also looks, acoustics, engineering, custom mods, lighting, etc...

If one only cares about performance, then that makes them just a gamer.

 

Personally I think a PC is like a car. Would you prefer a trash can that goes 200km/h? or a lamborghini looking car that does 60km/h? If you can't afford both, I would like a car that looks better over one that goes faster.
