I have waited for all of the new releases since my first post on this subject. I have found some good prices on last-gen devices like Galaxy S4 and LG G2. They are at the same price as the Nexus 5 ($350 on 35/mo contract for all of them). Which one should I purchace? I care most for multitasking, web browsing, good camera quality, and note taking. A good screen isn't too important to me. What would be the best option for my usage? 

 

PS. I know that an unlocked nexus 5 is 349.99, but I for my usage, I want to go with a specific plan and don't mind paying more for the device. There is an actual good price on the S4 and G2.

I have the S4, its decent. You cant put roms without touchwiz on it though :(

I hate to say this but the S4 has a better camera quaility then the nexus 5 and the g2

But if you pick an  S4 believe me root that thing and put a different ROM in it.

 

Nexus 5 is a no joke phone that just good in everyway plus it has a snapdragon 800 (LG g2 also) while S4 has a Snapdragon 600.

 

just get a nexus 5 (remember no sd card slot)

Huh? There's plenty of ROMs for the S4 that aren't based off of TouchWiz...

I say get the G2. I personally have this phone and I couldn't be happier. The buttons on the back will take some getting use to, but you'll get use to them very quickly, and once you do, I'm sure you'll actually prefer them. Oh, and the double tap on screen to wake up/sleep is also a very nice feature.

yea for the google edition and ones that didnt update when the bootloader was locked

Both the GS4 and G2 cameras are both good though one is over saturated and the other is just under saturated. One has OIS one doesn't. Though the GS4 does have tons of ROMs you could load onto it.
