I'm a student starting university in September. I'm gonna need a relatively good laptop, as I will be studying computer science.

I've been looking around and ASUS Zenbook, Acer Aspire S7, Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus, Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro (is it just gimmicky?or is it as cool as it seems?), and various XPS models have caught my eye.

A laptop that can have its RAM/storage upgraded would be ideal.

Any recommendations from you guys/gals would be great.

~$1400 CAD is my upper limit.

Also, gaming on this is a non issue since I've got a desktop, the laptop would be used primarily for student things.
