I, however, have no interest in the phone. Too big.

Has anyone else gotten an invite, and if so how long did it take you to receive your phone?

If it's not too long of a wait I might buy it and put it up on eBay while they're still in demand.

How did you get the invite if you have no interest in the phone?

I was a member on the forum very early on. Before they released any of the specs and the phone itself.

Needless to say I was disappointed.

That's actually what I ended up getting. Couldn't be happier. Well, I could, with a bigger battery, but it's still miles ahead of my Optimus G.

If you can wait I'd consider getting the new Moto phone. Sounds much beastlier.

New Moto phone? Actually, I didn't know about that.... I've got to do my research.  :P Still, the problem is that I live in Europe, so I might get screwed reguarding availability; yet since Lenovo bought them we can expet anything.

They opened up the Moto Maker to Germany, which they haven't even done for Canada yet, so I'm sure you'll get them there. I'm pretty sure you can just buy them online as well.

I think they'll have a greater global outlook now that Lenovo bought them. And a greater chance of having a microSD slot since Google's no longer in charge ;)
