It's even cheaper than the motherboard itself.  :o

Damn, that's a hell of a deal

When I saw $105.00 in savings I thought it was a screw up normally you don't get anymore than $30 off a combo like that

Well they actually add $100 dollars with the purchase of the GPU it gives you 2 games for "free" but they put the discount on that invoice for some reason. They separate the invoice into 2 orders. I bought em together its kinda weird, I know lol. Hopefully a R9 270 Sapphire for 154.99 is pretty good too from what I see on pcpartpicker its the lowest price is been at yet.

Thats interesting to know!!! If you got a Mircocenter close by and want it now and dont what to have to mess with shipping that would be the better way to go for sure.

I checked MSI Z97 PC Mate vs MSI Z97 U3 Plus.

U3 Plus has M.2 slot, 10 USB ports, 3 PCI slots, 6 Audio ports.

PC Mate no M.2 slot, 6 USB ports, 2 PCI slots, 3 audio ports.

Wait what? Where did you find that? Microcenter doesn't have a discount for combo deals without a K cpu

This is the pentium aniversery edition its overclockable and it overclocks like a champ. Just google it and watch linus video on it. Yes amd cpu's are overclockable and you don't need a more expensive mobo or chip for it.

OO I got what your saying now lol. I put a K next to the G3258 in the title even though that techincally isn't the model name/number. So if people see the post they understand that the chip is overclockable. Since K normally means the cpu is overclockable.

Also if you guys want to see another video review of the Chip Tiny Tim Logan did a review. He does a mild OC of 4.4 GHZ and only something like 1.2 Volts and temps stay around 70c with a H105 but says that you could get around the same temps with air cooling.

If you look in the Microcenter ad, the only cpus they have combo deals with on Intel's side at least is the x79 platform, the i5 and i7 K series, and the top i3 cpu(don't remember the name). The G3258 does not have a bundle deal since it's only $60 at Microcenter anyway.

It's not one of Microcenter's normal everyday combo discounts. I'm assuming it's just for the weekend but not sure.

Otherwise it's $59.99 CPU and $109.99 Mobo separately.
