ASUS RoG G550JK Gaming Notebook & GIVEAWAY

I'm a fan of desktop replacements that aren't huge, loud, and power hungry; So i'm a fan of this.

Easily the price/performance in comparison to the Lenovo Y510p, at around the same price. Having the  higher performing 850m vs the 755m is a bigger plus.

Shame about the lack of an SSD and the battery life when not gaming.

Decent performance while being portable is pretty good.

Also the cooling helps a lot since the weather isn't forgiving here.

My favorite thing about this laptop is the signatures from all the people I spend all my free time watching. ;)

what I really like about this laptop is the aesthetic, the red bevel against black really catches the eyes...specially in LAN parties with my friends!

Other features like, a good battery life under load, and the raw performance it delivers for it's price, all make this laptop highly desirable.

  :D

I really like the display, the colors really looked to pop and the viewing angle is wonderful as well.

I like the red keyboard lights. They are kind of neat.

Does the speaker array support any type of surround sound, or is it all just doubled-up stereo?
Either way, I like the setup there, with the added 'bass' when I'd want something extra.

My favorite part is it's thickness. It's pretty thin for a gamer.

personally, i like the brushed aluminum and the red accents because the aluminum is much more durable then some plastic laptops, and the red accents make it "POP" a little better while still looking good.

I like the fact that it is signed by a bunch of youtubers that i subscribe too. Adds the special tag to it.
Also its a good balance between performance and portability. I mean it heavy but not as heavy as some other desktop replacements !
And the fact that I dont have a laptop right now also is an important aspect :D

Now that looks pretty good! I'd still say an Alienware looks better, but I guess for the price: the G550JK looks and performs really nice.

As always, well done on the review :)
