1st time watercooling need some advices

hey guys!

This is my 1 watercooling build i builded many computers before but never custom waterloop. This pc is for my GF as "thank u" in some things.

problem is i dont rly know what parts do i need and that.

http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/PHANTEKS-Enthoo-Pro-Midi-Tower-schwarz-Window::27293.html this is case i wil use.

i wanted to take base components of this http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/Wasserkuehlung/Interne-Wasserkuehlungen/XSPC-Wasserkuehlung-Set-RayStorm-750-EX420::24331.html

i am missing a gpu block and backplate 2 i was thinking of using r9 280x or gtx 770 but can i use waterblock on aftercooler graphic card.

And plis tell me from this list http://www.hardwareversand.de/articlesearch.jsp

                                             http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=gtx+770

                                             http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=r9+280x

i also wanted to add a second radiator in front:  http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/Wasserkuehlung/Radiatoren/240mm-Radiatoren/XSPC-Xtreme-Radiator-RX240-V3-240mm::26318.html

i wil probably use noctua presure fans where they wil not be seen and enermax blue led fans on visable places.

thx for help :)

cheers

Great case. The EK waterblocks are the best, maybe the clear one with nickel plating.

So it's sounds like you want a 420mm rad and 240mm rad. You could get the RX series ones from XSPC.

280X or 770 is up to you. I personally like Nvidia more, for their features.

I'd use compression fittings instead of the barb fittings in the kit you linked.

Quote if you have more questions about the WC'ing.

In my Opinion if it is your first experience with a custom loop visit Aquatuning, they have full kits for custom loops so takes all the guess work out of it, and they are really nice.

Bitspower makes the best compression fittings. http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/Wasserkuehlung/Anschluesse/19/13mm-Anschluesse/Bitspower-Anschluss-1-4-Zoll-auf-19-13mm-shiny-black::12523.html

The measurements of the fittings have to match the measurements of the tubing. Tubing that's has 1/2" ID and 3/4" OD is a good sweet spot. 1/2" ID 3/4 OD" translates to 13mm ID 19mm OD you see in the link.

If the EVGA ACX 770 uses a reference design PCB yes. If you want to know 100% that it'll fit just get a 770 with a reference design, this will also be cheaper if you're going to water cool it anyway.

If you can get tubing from Primochill, that brand.

Which models of the GTX 770's or R9 280X's can you get?

I looked at the GTX 770's. EK makes waterblocks for the Asus Direct CU II, Palit and Gainward versions.

I'd get this: http://www.hardwareversand.de/en/2048+MB/80673/ASUS+GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5+DirectCU+II+OC%2C+GeForce+GTX+770%2C+2GB+GDDR5.article   or the 4GB version if you can afford and/or need it.

With an EK waterblock for it.

This.  Also, the EVGA ACX are reference cards, if it matters.
