Depends what you want to do...

 

Personally I use an iPhone and iPad and have seen no reason to jailbreak them

I'd sell it and buy an Android tablet ;)

But if you like your iPad Mini i'd suggest not to jailbreak it, there is a small chance of it bricking.

And you can just buy the apps you want as well, if you can afford an iPad mini you can afford the apps.

Depends on what you want to do, keep in mind that you always have to wait, you can't just update your ipad like usual

Well it cost 175 16gb version dont know if thats cheap or not

Not worth it anymore if you get ios8 this fall. It makes the iOS buggy,slower,less safe and it takes a lot of the "apple experience" away.
