For those stats just get a Moto X: a lot better than dealing with touch wiz on even slower hardware.

The Minis are essentially just lower speced and lower sized version of a device. i would assume that they are bought mostly by people in emerging markets.

Touchwiz on GS5 isn't too bad but still is bad.

These are cheaper than the Moto x and probably are similarly priced to the moto G

Galaxy Mini phones are cheap but not for the consumer, they are cheap to produce for Samsung. It's Samsung way of making a quick buck. There is absolutely no value for the consumer.

oooooo, great for small handed people like me, but then again there are better phones for that price.

Haha, they are NOT that cheap. At all. They're actually only a couple hundred cheaper than the flagship, if that.

To date Sony is the only company to do mini versions properly. The rest put really, really bad spec in them.

They're a little smaller, but honestly not by much.

As @Misanthrope said, the Moto X is a much better choice than the mini versions and truly compact.
