[TechReport] AMD Gaming Evolved Adds Recording/Streaming Capabilities

Yup, and only for games in Raptr library. I can't even manually add rFactor 2 into Raptr.

Well that's disappointing. Raptr includes quite a lot of games so for a lot of people it won't be an issue, but I think it's stupid to put an arbitrary limit on it like that.

Just let me record whatever I want. I can't even do my test with it.

So, only a ten minute cap? Nothing more?

Just use manual recording if you need more than that.

Yeah, i don't think they'll be adding that support so soon and there's still some detection issue in a few games like Assetto Corsa where it use multiple exe.

I apologize for that blithering fanboy above, not all Nvidia users are like that.

Let me rephrase, those Nvidia users who are happy with their purchase because it works aren't like that. We feel little need to go around crying about how NVIDIA RULZ AMD SUXXSKS.

And using Newegg as some sort of statistically valid test for reliability and satisfaction. LOL. Come back to me with 1000 reports from each card, then make a comparison. Until then, please stop ruining threads by turning them into AMD/Nvidia penis measuring contests. If you feel so insecure about your own penis, get some viagra and stop cluttering innocent threads.

"Shadowplay is dumb" "Shadowplay is pointless" Now AMD copies Nvidia, and all of sudden it's a great idea......

Just because somebody decided to do something doesn't mean they copied them, AMD were pretty much at liberty to provide something like this considering how big streaming and video making has become.

Lol its not my fault that so many people have issues with the AMD drivers...

Also calling people an idiot is very immature of you...maybe you should take a break from the internet and calm down.

The idiot comment was a bit much but AMD hasn't had driver issues above Green team since the 5xxx series if not earlier.

Typical "AMD drivers are so bad". Not all people are experiencing shit like others do. I've been using my 290 and has never experienced any driver error or any shit.

Failures happen on all things tech, real enthusiasts would google and apply the known fix methods, some can't be bothered.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

all the cards i compared are from asus, so if it was a problem with asus then all the cards would have worse reviews, not just AMD

plus you can see that asus actually contacts most people who are having issues in an attempt to assist, which is pretty sweet :)

also I completely understand that people have had great experiences using AMD, it all depends on how lucky you get

Also, asus just strapped the 780 cooler on the r9 290, which is why several heatpipes are not even close to touch the die.

Please go home troll.

Wow, then wouldn't the amd fanboys outweigh the nvidia fanboys?

You can take a look at customer reviews on any site and more people are satisfied with their Nvidia cards than people are with AMD.

This is just a fact. I'm not saying that Nvidia has no problems with their drivers. I'm saying they have less than AMD.

There is no reason to get upset about this matter...everyone has their personal opinion. But a personal opinion will never be more valid that a proven fact.

Nvidia currently has a bigger market share. If people vote by what they currently own, Nvidia will naturally be ahead.

I moved from from Nvidia to AMD and I did not have any driver issue.

Another thing is that their drivers got a lot better now. If for example, someone moved from a Radeon 6000 to a GTX 700 series, he will not have any experience with the better drivers and will be biased towards saying AMD drivers are still bad.

And please, don't call people immature when on the first post of this thread, you showed everyone you're a childish fanboy.

Can u guys fcking stfu about nvidia vs AMD? God it's retarded.

OT: Any1 getting crashes when trying to record? I didn't test it for long, i just tried it once and it crashed my Tera. Didn't try it since then. Do i need a semi decent disk to write the file i record or is it fine with a normal disk? I'm guessing it won't be retarded as FRAPS since the video is already compressed here but who knows.
