Get a 4670k rather than the 4440, it's only a little more.

the fx series will give better overall performance, but the i5 will give better gaming performance, upto you really

ok but just a head ups that the FX upgrade path may be limited to the FX8350 and the useless FX9590

The AMD piledriver is 2 year old. Stick with intel....the i5 costs a lil bit more.

 

And yes AMD has no plans for future for the FX series till 2016
