Imagine having my Internet

Take a moment and imagine having the internet I have. People complain about having 20mbps and say they need more. I would LOVE to be able to have 10. Behold my speeds and ISP http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3572120429 http://www.airwans.net/ ......... This speed test is on the slow side, on a normal sunny day I get 1.7 - 1.9 mbps.. The nearest place where cable or DSL is available is about 7 miles away..

I used dial-up before. Be grateful that many of you will never have to experience that horror.

Quit whining. In best conditions I've got 1Mb/s. I didn't make an entire thread to just get attention.

Some of us grew up with 56k, quit complaining.

I'll never forget the horrifying noise the modems made when dialling.

Speedyquick networks got an F+ ? I love irony. Are you all on adsl then? Most of the UK is covered in fibre now and you can get those adsl speeds here for about £3 a month if you take a landline package with it.

Enough tax payer money went to the ISPs to pay for fiber to EVERY house in the US, and they STILL complain that fiber is too expensive.
