A case to fit Noctua nh-d15

Vicente Gomez

although it's your case choice and pcpartpicker show no incompatibility, i would suggest a HAF X, Define R4, 800D, NZXT Phantom 240(my favorite), looks even better and just to be sure

It will not fit in the SPEC-02, are you looking for one in the same price range?

@Vicente Gomez

any case choice with a rear 140mm should be able to hold monster HSFs.

only issue would be how far up the fans have to be adjusted up to clear RAM

'sinks. the 120mm rear fanned cases are usually harder as they don't have a

lot of extension past the fan. unless the side panels have popouts or large

bulges for clearances monster HSFs have issues. the SPEC will have issues.

Corsair SPEC-02 Maximum CPU Cooler Height: 157mm (side panel bulge included)
Noctua NH-D15  Height (without fan): 160mm/ (with fan): 165mm

@Vicente Gomez

i'm building one now. a bit bigger than the fractal design arc midi, but has potential

for water cooling and massive air cooling. has fan slots for 120/140 fans.

two in the front, three in the roof, one in the rear and floor.
