It looks pretty good (certainly the best FM2+ board I've ever seen), but FM"+ is not a performance platform

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - CPU Cooler: Deepcool Castle 240EX - Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RBG 3200MHz - GPU: MSI RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO

if you buy one. it will probably be a million pounds because it's an rog board, but it should be worth it, and hold its value better.

the news is a bit older, but i cant find a thread either.

neither could i. it was announced on the 8th but i didn't see it until just now

Waste of money. Gaming mobo for an APU.

Gotta agree.

true. i'd never get an apu.

performance is bad, value as well, and it feels bad.

they should bring a cheap am3+. or just another amd "enthusiast" platform.

i've got 2 and and don't play games so its all good :P

its been done by popular demand. you have a stock 3570k on a gd45 anyway so it clearly isn't for you

for who is it then, rog fanboys? It may look good for some people ( i think the plastic with very planar look is meh ) but thats about it. its wasting money, even on intel platform.

until AMD releases proc with similar specs to PS4 APU, they are worthless, and this mobo is just swag

There is thing called athlon 760k, it goes for 80$ and mobo goes for 70$. For 130$ you get gpu that performs 3 times better. Prolly even cheaper than apu + this mobo.

true, but that's not it, Ok yes RoG, yeah, the Copany needs it's own toch just like Gaming and G1 Sniper... but, Striker, Posieden, Ranger, Hero, Rampage, WTF ?! if it was a 11year old, he might be foulled by the name and think it will bring out a comic books hero out of it, but a Techie with a bit of sense, no, not gonna be fouled by that, Sorry Asus . :P

i don't like gpu's. they are too slow. this board is perfect for overclocking. it might be a waste for gaming, but for what i'm using it for it will be perfect. they could cut the audio bit off for me though to save a bit of cost.

Haha, when it comes to silly names, RAZER always comes first.

I can't tell the difference between my 4670k 760sli and 5600k 760. There is a clear benchmark difference with them that shows up easily, but when actually playing games? They are both great.

So I would totally get a fm2+ nice board like this if I was building another computer.

Intel 4670K /w TT water 2.0 performer, GTX 1070FE, Gigabyte Z87X-DH3, Corsair HX750, 16GB Mushkin 1333mhz, Fractal R4 Windowed, Varmilo mint TKL, Logitech m310, HP Pavilion 23bw, Logitech 2.1 Speakers

yes they are slow. they can only do 2000mhz on ln2. they are also boring to overclock and artifact and have driver updates all the time which render all your overclocking useless. i also like 2d benchmarks better. saying that, i can't wait to see 3d mark sky diver which i am downloading now.

They wouldn't have made it if people didn't want it. Plain and simple. ASUS only invests resources into things that people want. JJ has said this before.

I don't really see a point in a board more expensive than the CPU but whatever.
