Can you SLI a Tian with a 680

excalibrax

I am not sure on the answer, I know you can't do a 680 and a 690 due to processor differences. But can you do a Titan and 680 as they are both single core just different clock speeds and memory? Whats the verdict

My vote is no, as far as I know they have to be the exact same card

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

Brian (Swiftech Support): Hmm, have you tried slapping it?

The titan and 680 are different.

You can only sli the same gpu.

but you should be able to do 770 680 sli, as the 770 will only be a dye shrunken 680.

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

You can only SLI cards of the same model.

However, for AMD crossfire, you can use cards from within the same series/gen. (Ex: 6950 with 6970, 7770 with 7750) But u cant do something like 7770 and 7950.

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

For SLI you can only SLI the same model of the particular card.

Example:

680 + 680 = Yes

680 + Titan = No*

680 + 670 = No*

680 + 770 (Unknown but 95% Won't work) = No*

* = You can have plugged in and running, but can only use for dedicated PhysX, if i remember correctly people use to go GT 9800 (Main) or something like this, with GT 9600 as a dedicated PhysX card.
