So what is this?
 
This is an opportunity to do a LIVE Q&A session with Dan Pollock, Sr. Vice President of Modis - a leading IT staffing company. He and I have connected already briefly and I think this stream will be very interesting for folks looking to get into the IT industry as well as folks who are already in it, but looking for a bit of a change of pace.

Speak to your school guidance teacher, they will write your name down and email you when anything comes up in your area! It's great, I actually go for my induction to College(Doing engineering) tomorrow afternoon thanks to my school Good luck!

Sorry to highjack the thread, I'm a Programmer at Ubisoft Montreal working on Far Cry 4, I'd be open to do something similar for someone looking to get into the gaming industry (if that's something you get asked by people too).

I have a question I've come to reality of but I wanted a second opinion. First, I received this opinion from a UC Davis Graduate who is currently working as a Software Engineer devloping the iOS framework for a game designed in HTML5 using Javascript and Angular.

 

Do Clubs really matter to an employer? Or are they generally just seen as a social club?

I understand it's a different matter for Clubs that are associated with the College itself but what about student based clubs?

I've had such a struggle with school, I have dropped out of college courses multiple times, because of lack of interest. And have been extremely passionate about technology and computers, from building computers, to tech support, I've been doing those things for friends and family for a few years now. I am interested in going back to school and want to know where I should start?
