Where's my voucher for free stuff?

If you're not the one that reads all of these, I'll reiterate what I said so that you can beg your superiors for us if they plan on advancing with the rest of the market.

A case with no 5.25 bay is perfect as long as the integrated fan controller is good.

The only issue I have with CM cases is actually the Cooler Master logo, I''ll be honest it looks awful like awful awful. It just looks outdated and low rent, I don't have a window and I had to take the shroud off my V8 because I know what the logo looks like and I know it's there and I couldn't stand it. The only thing that is stopping me from considering the N200/Silencio 352 for any personal build is the Logo, aside from that I think they are excellent in their appearance and layout. I'm really sorry to nit pick about something like this but it really is bad imo and I don't know why it bothers me as much as it does.

but this?

Could you include Phanteks in the favorite computer case brand? <- extremely appropriate at the moment considering their new case announcements.

bigger Stomtrooper 2 with a bigger window.  take away the bottom mesh bay cover look and make it solid.  Little more room for radiators.  Handle was a good idea.  More room inside the case for things like reservoirs and whatnot. I mean I understand the drive bays being fan mounts but I dont know why anyone who uses a comp for gaming or everyday stuff needs that many bays.

Wouldn't it make more sense just to have the mounts for the fans instead with maybe some bracing for stability.   Tooless installation for hds and ssds.

Front usb and sound /fan options.  Do not try and cover them.  Hidden compartments are nice but why have it hidden if you are going to use it and it has potential to break.  I like what you guys do with having it at the top.  where are you going to need it most generally. (Yes ppls I know some people have towers on there desk)  But if you lan you might not and kind of nice to have cables come from high up rather then down.

I think overall I am looking for stormtrooper2 meets 750d.  There are alot of 100 to 200 dollar options on the market.  I am looking for something that is 300 plus so I dont have to mod big to get what I want.  Good parts are expensive I want them in the most functional attractive case I can find.

I feel like CM has been too stagnant in the case market. Not enough innovation. I hope Phanteks has shaken the market enough that CM and others will really start innovating.

My main issues are the dust filters (or lack thereof), cheap feeling plastic front panel tabs (Scout 2), and flimsy clips for the top panel (Scout 2).

Good job with the Scout's handle though, surprisingly sturdy.

@CM Norumu

survey completed. the optional comments was tough without sounding-off like a rant.

hope the forum can provide you the needed information to your quest.

Rants are good! I plan on reading as many as I can

I tried as much as possible to convey my thoughts on your position in the case market, and why I believe you're falling out of favour, without sounding like an asshole. It was constructive though. :) I want you guys to do better so the industry as a whole moves forward. Competition is good!

I used to have a Cosmos 1000 and. Eh the important parts were solidly built (though most of the aesthetic fins at the top, along with the door hinge all broke in shipping the case to me). I found it quite lacking though. Airflow was terrible, there was one single intake on the bottom and two exhausts in the top and one in the back. I had to modify the side panel to add more to that just so I could play games in the summer without crashing. Water cooling options are pretty non-existent too. You can fit a 120mm rad in the back, and the top has mounting holes for 240 and 280 mm rads, but you can't actually fit a 280 mm rad without modding because the aesthetic cut-out and the way the handles are mounted gets in the way. And as for cable management, what cable management? There is minimal space behind the right side panel.

And bearing in mind this case is more expensive than a 900D, I would be very sceptical about buying another case from Cooler Master.

I'd love it if CM could make an as I would name it "Elite 111" with SFX PSU support and use the extra space for slim (maybe slotload) ODD bay, and a Rez mounting cause if using custom watercooling part you could fit water cooling in it

To be fair, the Cosmos 1000 was from 2007, whereas the Corsair 900D was from 2013. PC building grew a lot since then as did its design concepts. A fairer comparison would be the Cosmos II, and even thats been getting old, relatively speaking.

That's antec 900 age and we have progressed significantly since that era in a very very good way.
