Red Tansparent Fluid for Primoflex Advanced Crystal Clear

Hey,

going to order parts for my first build tonight.

Originally I planned to go with Mayhems X1 red. But because of bad experiences other people made with Mayhems coolant staining and changing color, I am not sure if this would be the right choice.

What red transparent fluid would you recommend to go with Primoflex Advanced LRT 3/8"-1/2" crystal clear tubing?

Thanks

If it were me, I would go with the primochill red tubing instead of red liquid. But if you must mayhems red dye is probably tour best option.... From what I've heard

If I did not want to go with Mayhems, because the guy running the business is not really that friendly and to be honest I dont want to buy stuff from people that treat their customers disrespectful.
So what about EK Blood Red?
XSPC has some blood red also, what about that?

Red tube IS the safer way to go.

Haven't heard about any other good quality dyes or koolant... Sorry

Distilled water + kill coil or pt nuke + coloured tubing = best

Distilled water + kill coil or pt nuke + dye = not ideal but better

Coloured koolant + clear tubing = usually ends badly

Be careful with adding a kill coil (pure silver) and any nickel parts..EK and Koolance will void the warranty .

Any red coolant will stain the tubing eventually. It's dye, it dyes things!

It's not much of an issue unless the tubing clouds because then it will look awful (but will look awful with just distilled anyway).

It will stain the blocks but you can clean it off with ketchup.

I have used mayhems x1 and xt-1 several times and the coolant doesn't change colour. (pastel and aurora are a minefield -avoid them)

I'm trying some aquacomputer coolant next.

I use EK coolant and it has been holding it's color very well. I have also heard XSPC coolant is good quality. Problem with Red and dies is they tend to fade or dilute quickly. I would recommend either a red tubing, or red dye, so you can get it as deep as you like.

I can personally recommend EK and XSPC coolants.

I used EK red for 12 months in a loop and it still looked red when I poured it down the sink. ;)
