How to get my website recognized? (kronofiles.com)

Looking better but I think you have some browser compatibility issues in your CSS:

Chrome (Windows)

FireFox (Windows)

IE10 (Windows (obv))

It seems to be down right now but https://browsershots.org/ will show you what your website looks like in a whole bunch of different browsers all at once.

Gonna get working on the cross browser compatibility but the one with chrome is odd, on my screen it shows an arrow next to it.

*Edit

I just realized that your chrome probably has the site cached.

In your opinion what would be the most effective way of making money off the site without annoying/clunky ads?

I really like the idea and i will try to recommend your site to some people
If I where you I wouldn't worry about ads until you get some significant traffic on your site, because it looks nice and clean now.
If you really want ads than you should put them on the bottom where no one will see them unless you scroll all the way down.

If it gets more hits you should definitely remove the personal info on the page

I hope your site gets recognized

Thanks for the kind words :D. What do you mean about the personal info on the home page? The only spot where there is personal info is on the staff page.

Would these help with the issue of getting shut down?...

Just read a bit about it, and it sounds horrible.

by now, you may already know what i was aiming for...if you lock something up - your government wants a spare key...

if you want your project to be a persistent/commercial endeavour, i really think you and your team should team up with a lawyer ( just in case )...

i like the minimal design and simplicity of your site...but it would be helpful to extend your FAQ with infos like; the maximal filesize for uploading, etc.

This is an alpha...this is not a beta. Yeah...and we're running it on production ! [LinusTech & SlickPC]   ~    More Power Than All the Computers in 1999! [Our Servers ^^]

What would be some good things to talk to a lawyer about?

when your project becomes a company you have to handle income, tax and competitors...but that's two steps into the future.
right now, you should dicuss matters of your IP...particularly what overtowers the disclaimer...function and limitations...should someone come knocking, you'd have your shield (laywer) up...

You should be getting an SSL certificate for a site like this

I'm currently in the process of getting one.
