When will there be 1080p PLS 90Hz/120Hz monitors from trustworthy manufactures?

Unless there's a breakthrough in the PLS/IPS technology, never. Those kinds of panel can't actually reach those kinds of refresh rates reliably.

PLS monitors are capable of overclockable refresh rates, all that should be required is a few modifications to the panel and/or cherrypicking.

For a manufacturer to release that kind of monitor for mass production, it'll be extremely expensive. Especially with cherrypicking.

It could happen, but the cons outweigh the pros for the company in my opinion.

Exactly, cherry-picking. The yield would be so low that it wouldn't even be economically viable to do so without charging a huge premium at retail.

At 120Hz without blur or frame skipping? Hardly.

IPS panel technology isn't fast enough to achieve this right now.
