I bought a 3DS XL for my little brother for Christmas. 3DS is doing very well right now. So many good games are out and even more are coming in the near future *cough* Animal Crossing *cough* *cough*. Not to mention it's backwards compatible with regular DS games. I would highly recommend getting one. But make sure you get a 3DS XL. Trust me, it's worth it.

I bought a 3DSXL to play some of the DS pokemon games, as well as the new ones coming out, since It's been a while since I played Pokemon.

Highly recommend the 3DSXL.

The version I bought did not come with a charger, so I had to buy it as well.

No charger? That's odd...

I got myself a 3DS XL for the new monster hunter (which is awesome).

Its really worth the money, but the new pokemon games are bad imo. Zelda is pretty nice though

The new Pokemon games aren't bad at all. Gotta take those nostalgia glasses off lol

Probably the nostalgia glasses are the problem, but i dont get the real 'pokemon feeling' when i play the new ones. Sounds wierd i know :D

With the new Mario and Zelda games i have no such problems, really enjoy them.

Well there is more or less a lack of discovery because you already know every type and how to counter them and just one-hit KO Pokemon left and right. Other than that the new ones are just as good as the old and I have been playing ever since I got my red and gold versions.

I have a DS and I'm also thinking of getting a 3DS (Not sure which one to get yet). My only real issue is that the only game I'm interested in playing is Pokemon hahaha. On my DS the only games I have are Pokemon games.

Lets be honest now, I think the only reason anyone really wanted a DS was because of Pokemon, I mean what else is there?

Mario Kart, New SMB (esp back when it was released and was actually new), Professor Layton, Zelda. Nothing compared to the quality of non-Pokemans titles the 3DS has got so far. On the 3DS you really have to get OoT3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Kid Icarus and Luigi's Mansion. That's before Fire Emblem, More Professor Layton, Mario Kart 7 and Animal Crossing. Lots of quality titles and that's before looking at the independent stuff like Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force.

Fools think they know everything, experts know they know nothing

There was Mario Cart, Kirby Squeak Squad, and New Super Mario Bros, and to be honest, I've spent at least a hundred hours playing those alone. Also Fire Emblem Awakening is a great reason to buy a 3DS, not to mention that the new Pokemon games (pretty much always awesome) are coming to it later this year, a new Smash Brothers title for it may be on the way, and it you can emulate tons of fun classic games.

Please quote me if you want me to see your post about my post, otherwise I may lose track of the thread and never see it.

I'd love to help, but I'm probably gonna' have to ask for more info before we can get anything done.

Have a wonderful day.
