Tips for cable management

Can anyone offer some tips on how to make my build be more clean and have less cables running everywhere on the bottom of my case?post-19167-0-61684000-1368428188_thumb.jpost-19167-0-05329300-1368428196_thumb.jpost-19167-0-55990700-1368428204_thumb.j

Zip ties zip ties zip ties. in a case like this don't bother trying to hide everything behind the motherboard tray there seems to be veyr little room just try and keep everything bunched together in the front.

Seems really cramped back there, maybe you could run the SATA cables through the bottom right gromets/holes

You have done a better job than when I first build my PC, it seems you have some space in your HDD cage, that's where I'd be stuffing some cables (Provided you don't intent to be putting more HDDs/SSDs in there later). and if you're willing to spend some money, a case with more grommets and space behind the motherboard will pay off very nicely, you could also look around for a power supply that has better sleeving or black cables, as all of those different coloured cables look a bit terrible.

Just my two cents.

1) Zip ties/ velco ties/ velcro tape are your best friend.

2) if you can run your sata cable behind your MoBo that could help

3) Put your excess cables under your HDD drive

4) If your 24 cable allows it, try to route it at the topmost cut out then to your MoBo

5) try to route your 6/8 pin PCI-e connector the the top cut out as well

6) lower your CD drive and transfer your HHD's to the 3.5 inch dock (Just below your 5 1/4 bays) and use a molex to 3 sata connector extention cable or use the sata power x3 from your PSU. Then route the cable at the side. I see a cut-put that could help. :)

7) If you have 90 degree Sata cables use them.

8) is your can, try to route the connections for your case thru the small cutout of the top 5 1/4 bay then route them behind the Mobo instead of outside one of the actually cutouts.

9) Cut the AC something something attached to the HD sound connector you dont need it. :P It's an old standard.

Hope my suggestions help. :)

Personally i don't think cables look bad as long at they're organised. If you run out of room behind the tray just run the main cables along side the motherboard in a neat way of course :)
