PCPartPicker has been listing that similar price point for various sellers for a while now actually. Heck, I thought that was the normal pricing.

It's always this price guys.  There really needs to be a sticky because this happens so much.

Average price of ssds now is about 55 cents per gigabyte. This is not 50% off, more like $30 off. Still a deal nonetheless.

Wait a few months and it will probably be cheaper, wait a few more and cheaper again, etc.

 

Not really a deal, just the natural flow of SSD's getting cheaper.
