Samsung data destoryer

Hello,

Today I have purchased a new phone and want to send my old phone to get my money back. Now we've all heard about how risky it is to send your phone to get some money back and I want to be sure on how to basically 'destroy' the data my phone currently has stored on it. Obviously banking is on my phone and don't want it getting stolen. So my question is that if I can basically ecnrypt and write over and over the data so it'll be basically gone forever. Is there software for this or am I not thinking about the right thing.

If it helps my phone is the samsung galaxy a52s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

How much money are we talking about?

Is it worth your information possibly being compromised?

Encryption keys are erased when you do the standard reset, so unless you’re investigating any totalitarian regimes and fear your phone falling into the wrong hands, you really don’t have anything to worry about.
