My browsers crashes, can't figure out why.

Several times per day my browser crashes, the whole browser turns black, flicker a bit and restores.

I'm using Edge, but it happens with Firefox also. I'm using a laptop with 16gb ram and has a dGPU. I've tried to turn on and off the hardware acceleration in the browser and also start the application using dGPU in the settings.

I've checked logs, and there's nothing there.

Same problem in win10 and win11. Currently running Win 11 Pro, build 22631.3447

 

About a year ago, I didn't have that problem. Had to reinstall, and now it's behaving like that.

 

I can't reproduce it, as it happens at random, and no log files.

 

Does anybody have any idea what to do next?

Did you install drivers for the dGPU?

Yep, it's an old Nvidia mx150

Installed Manjaro, the problem went away. No more crashes in Edge
