If you want mitx high performance you have to go intel, there is no way around that ^^

Sadly, but i'm fine with what I have for the moment. I might upgrade my mobo and CPU to a 4670k later on.

SATA power is not flimsy at all, and it is the replacement of Molex. Most things other than drives are made with Molex connectors because not everyone has  PSU with SATA. A lot of people still use really old PCs. And in case you haven't noticed, the H110i now uses SATA power instead of Molex.

It thin and long thus flimsy up and down, especially on devices that dont have support above or below like HDDs, ODDs, and SSDs have. The reason SATA power is used for that is because its the only other connector that you has a numerous amount available. It also has 5v not just 12v like PCI-E, which has replaced molex as secondary power for additional power to the slots.

My build is pretty old and way too much crap is connected via those devil plugs that is molex......

you can fold with gpus :D and i actually do. Gives me 15x the ppd of my cpu. (gtx780 vs. 2600k)
