Ok, but tbh I don’t see the point. Go for a big ssd rather than 2 ssds, it normally costs less. A 4tb +2tb is, imo, kinda wasteful because most of the time you’re using the 2tb ssd, but idk your personal stuff

Np thanks for the answer!

So the "final" build would look like this:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Mainb.: Asus ROG Strix B650-A Wifi ATX

RAM: Corsair DIMM 32 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 16 GB) Dual-Kit - CL30

HDD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVME +SAMSUNG EVO 4TB SSD

GPU: Asus TUF GeForce RTX 4070 12GB or Asus TUF GeForce RTX 4070Ti 16GB(if i get a deal on it)

Power: SeaSonic Focus GX-850 ATX3.0

Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 ATX Mid Tower

Budget (including currency): PC ~ 2500€, Peripherals ~ 1500€

Country: EU

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (Battlebit, Risk of Rain 2, CS2, WoW, RB Siege, Upcoming Games), Home-Workload

Hello LLT-Crew!

I'm currently in the phase of putting together the parts for my new build, as my old one starts dying...

The partlist is as follows:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Mainb.: Asus ROG Strix B650-A Wifi ATX

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB

HDD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVME + Seagate 4TB HDD

GPU: Asus TUF GeForce RTX 4070Ti 16GB

Power: RM850 80+

Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 ATX Mid Tower

RGB is not required, as the PC will be under the table and not visible. I dont plan to overclock therefore air cooling should be enough.

I would need new monitors, keyboard and a simple webcam, headset, do you have some suggetions?

Should I go for 2 monitors or is 1 easier? Table size is at around 180cm (long)x 70cm deep.

Do you have any other suggetions or tipps that could improve this build? I don't mind if this specs are a bit overkill, would be nice if the build survives a few year 😉

Best

Specific country? It’s a lot different if you live in, say, Spain vs France

If you’re mainly gaming, try to get the 7900xtx or gre. If you get the gre, you can overclock it to get it on the 7900xt’s level.

Idk much about 1v2, but color matching is going to be easier and it’ll blend better. Either way, just go with what’s cheaper. They are close enough to sinilar

What's the deal with Europeans not having a clue about geography. The EU isn't a country, it's a trading organization. Every EU COUNTRY has it's own VAT, prices, available components, etc ...

Based of what he has, I think he’s living in Fra, Ger, or something like that.

Wdyt think about this: less storage but it should be better. That cooler couldn’t cool the 7800x3d I don’t think

There's no better air cooler than the Noctua NH-D15. As good maybe, better no.

Your Corsair Vengeance 32 GB Ram is better than his though.

The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE and Deepcool AK620 are less expensive than the NH-D15 yet have similar performance.

Ideally the memory kit will have EXPO profiles. https://at.pcpartpicker.com/product/sQfxFT/corsair-vengeance-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-cmk32gx5m2b6000z30

Unless the HDD is from a previous build, I'd suggest going all SSD, preferably NVMe.

Choose a PSU that is ATX 3.0 compliant.

Thanks for the feedback!

I will check your cooler for the build. Shouldnt the D15 handle the 7800X3D without problem?
Will also update the RAM for the model.

For the GPU I like to stay at nvidia, just a personal pref...

HDD will also be replaced with an other SSD/NVME.

Might be confusing it with a single tower mb

Try to get better than a 4070, at least a 4070ti super , I think you can fit it with a cheaper tower and ssd. Don’t get rog in this budget, rog is so overpriced. It’s the Cadillac of mobos, performs the same but costs more.

But it looks good, small nitpicks 🙂

So a TI or a 4080 should be my goal?

He Is not overclocking therefore he does not need overclocking ability. Good idea though.

Ok not saying it’s “overclocking xapabiltiy” which every gpu like ever has, I’m saying he goes into Radeon software and clicks the button that says overclock gpu, clicks the button that says 5%, makes that the default setting, and never returns
