If you're the owner of an internet cafe, you would need a proper IT admin to work for you instead of half assing it yourself.

You need to disable things with group policies and what not.

https://chromeenterprise.google/policies/?policy=DownloadRestrictions

But just download restrictions for chrome... You can find the key for it in the Windows Registry

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

If you're afraid of people downloading and potentially infecting the computers, you could also install something like faronics' "Deep Freeze".

Any modification will need to be approved, nothing can be installed.

Upon reboot, everything is back to how you had set it up. Virus free and all.

I believe this cost about $56 per 1 year license.

That coupled with a few other things like Download Restriction, should set you up just fine. As long as you pre-download all the games they are allowed to play anyway.

You can also try looking into BrowseControl which provides download restriction and more. Another $50 per license per year or something like that.

Both Deep Freeze and BrowseControl offer free trials for you to try out on a test computer before going all in.

Do make sure none of the computers open to public are on "administrator" accounts. They need to be on plain "user" accounts. Just that alone should prevent them from installing most things.

Goddamn, it's been so damn long since I last heard of that brand & product.

Used it long long long time ago when I was helping out at a friend's internet cafe, sure made things easier.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

I know right?!

I remember back in the late 90s the computers at school used that software as well. They've been around. But it works.
