Dell OEM 4080, worth going for it?

It for sure looks the same lol

Then if its the same price as 7900XTX I would go for it. 🙂

Hey everyone, I am planning to upgrade my GPU and this time to avoid some import taxes I'm going to attempt to buy it locally in my area.

However, the only options available for my intended range are the Dell OEM 4080, which since it's an OEM card it's by default used, a PNY, the RGB version at 150-200 USD more or a 7900XTX around the same price as the Dell 4080. I have not heard much about the Dell 4080 after googling about it, and from my research the 4080 and 7900 XTX are basically equal except in RT where Nvidia wins but idc about RT.

I am still more comfy on Nvidia software and I use shadowplay very often, I have never owned an AMD GPU before What do you guys think? Is the Dell OEM a safe choice? Or go for one of the other two?

Ps. Because I'm not American, so I'm not easily getting warranty on any of these so that's not super relevant to this purchase, but I assume the PNY and AMD cards are new, and the Dell not.

The Dell 4080 should be more or less equivalent to a lower tier AIB card so it's ok, but at 150-200$ more than a 7900XTX I don't think it's a good value

AMD GPU do work pretty well, at least mine does 🙂

No, the PNY one is 150-200 USD, the 7900XTX and the Dell one are the same price
