  1. Oh man I'm praying this is it so bad and I'm not even religious. Ill try a different cable once the other one arrives.
  2. Hello all I purchased a LG nanocell 85 because I don't have the money to go higher and I wanted 4k 120 for next gen consoles. I am outside the US so I don't really have RMAs options as it would be insanely expensive to send stuff out, I took a huge gamble when I purchased this. I still don't have the hdmi 2.1 cable (nor the machine to run it) so I'm playing at standard 4k 60. I was playing dark souls 2 and sometimes like when I was opening inventory or going through drastic light changes the TV would show static for second, like the old TV static where there was no sign
  3. Yea ill give it a try later today, I sadly cut myself (the dark rock 4 pro is dangerous man ) so I will leave it for later.
  4. RMA is not an option for me (part of a dummy country) I will replace the motherboard if there is nothing I can do on my side.
  5. I really did not want to re apply thermal paste and stuff but I guess its worth a try. Other than that my only options is to replace I guess.
  6. Hello everyone, this is part three of my very unpopular bad ram series. on this episode I want to talk about what can I do now that I finally nailed down the issue. Part two can be seen on this post TLDR: Second ram slot is bad, my ram is fine. It might not be the slot itself but at least its the fact i have 2 installed ram that is causing the issues. So I have to ask if there is anything I can do other than replace the motherboard or just permanently be stuck running with single channel ram. Also can there be other things that might lead to dual channel being faulty? is it fixab
  7. Do I need any specific quality cable for the adapter from rca to 3.5mm or will anything do? Also out of curiosity if I ever do decide to add a sub how does that work? Would I need another amp with aux input?
  8. I was already looking at the MB42X I guess these are similar but better. I do have a question about the amp. I bet these don't come with cables so what cables total do I need to get the whole setup running? I bet both the amps and speakers come with their power cords but something tells me that's about it. I also looked at this amp that seems to be going for 75 USD https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077GWVHHN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATV3LXZ3ZXOW8&psc=1. Should I go with that and save me 25 bucks (I saw it in another thread)
  9. Hello everyone, I want a speaker setup for my PC and TV (doesn't have to be both at the same time). I asked on other places and I was recommended to go with a passive speaker and amp instead of a normal PC speaker for a better experience, then i was recommended to replace the amp for an AVR. I am extremely new in this area and More than insane sound quality I want something decent that will last me for a while. My budget was originally around 100 USD but If i can buy something that lasts longer I am willing to go up to 300 USD. I can only buy things on amazon and ebay though as I am not Americ
  10. No im just using 1 stick of the newer one. but after running memstest my guess is that the ram is not the issue. I guess i should run it with 16 gb of the older one first before i jump into conclusions.
  11. I can see that my pc is running at stable 6/8 gb of ram with just chrome and other stuff like slack running. So I guess with 8 GB i am running out of RAM... Guess changing my mobo is my only choice if 8 is not enough and 16 is just giving me a lot of issues.
  12. Hello, its been around a week and switching to one ram stick certainly helped, the memory mangement BSoDs almost completely dissapeared. however yesterday and today i still got one BSOD while on a slack call called: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL . Would you know anything about this @Radium_Angel
  13. I have an old set of slower ram that never gave me problem I will put in after a week of 1 ram stick to see if its that second slot that its causing this. hopefully its the ram its cheaper to replace 16gb of ram than a 200 usd mobo
  14. Thanks for info. Ill report back in a week to see if its fixed. man that sucks this mobo is new but I cant really RMA cuz im not in the US. as its a x570 board i planned it to last a while
  15. How long should I run this before I report back? Lets say in case I dont get bsods for a week what would this mean for me? bad mobo? bad ram?
  16. I have received in the last week at least 2 or 3 bsods daily while I'm on chrome or gaming or literally doing nothing. This is the list of the most recent ones: Memory managment (very frequent) dxgmms2.sys system thread not handled Service Exception/Page Fault in Nonpaged Area Attempted write to readonly memory page fault in nonpaged area PC specs: Windows 10 Full version x64 Age of system (hardware): less than a year for mobo, ram and cpu, 5 or so years for the rest Age of OS installation: a week CPU model: Ryzen R5 3600 Vi
  17. I am having constant BSOD with memory management. I made a post a few days ago but nothing was found so because that post will be hidden in obscurity I thought of making a new one with updated information: The two logs asked by the BSOD creation thread are here http://www.mediafire.com/file/h8cyi99eh2sxtdt/file http://www.mediafire.com/file/yztfq0cxvpsxgpe/file PC Specs Windows 10 Full version x64 Age of system (hardware): less than a year for mobo, ram and cpu, 5 or so years for the rest Age of OS installation: a week
  18. I have never OC the ram I think.
  19. Yea i noticed i left out the ram, I updated. I already ran memtest86 and no issues. and DOCP is off.
  20. Hey all, I had been getting common BSODs recently. These normally happen when I am watching youtube chrome on full screen or playing games Windows 10 Full version x64 Age of system (hardware): less than a year for mobo, ram and cpu, 5 or so years for the rest Age of OS installation: yesterday CPU model: r5 3600 Video Card model: gtx 1080 msi armor oc MotherBoard: asus tuf gaming x570 Power Supply: EVGA 650 W 80+ Gold Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600 Bios is updated Drivers are updated
  21. I pretty much buy from US stores and get them delivered to my country as local pc parts are pretty much non existent. I was planning to spend around 100-120 USD max. will get a better performance with an aio cooler in that range vs that noctua fan? I dont think I want to cheap out because I really dont want to deal with thermal throttling and I do plan to upgrade to the 4700x next year so I might as well buy a good cooler that works for that too.
  22. So I just upgraded to the 3600 and it's has honestly not been a smooth ride for me, I had to reinstall the cpu which( because I got angry) bent my io shield In the process and cut myself in the fingers trying to force the mobo in. I reinstalled it with artic silver thermal paste because after the initial launch the CPU kept thermal throttling with the default settings and the stock cooler on stuff like Aida and even games. I have around 6-7140mm fans on a full tower case using the motherboard bios for the ramp up of all fans depending on cpu temps. I live in a really hot country,
  23. So my computer died last month when I moved and I was already planning to upgrade to the ryzen 3600 from Intel anyways so I went ahead and bought the recommended combo of the 3600 + the b450 tomahawk max. My plan was to upgrade to the 4700x out in a year or a year and a half. The processor its already on the way and the motherboard is on backorder. Should I cancel my motherboard purchase and upgrade to a x570 now so I dont have to upgrade it alongside the processor later? I feel like I should.
