Maximum number of ISO files that can be mounted?

tippytipper

Hi, does anyone know the maximum number of ISO files that can be mounted at a time?

Given that they are assigned a letter, I wondered if you are limited by the alphabet (and any other existing drives)?

It's 24. They are limited by the alphabet and A and B are reserved for floppy drives I think. 24 also includes your C drive and what else you have mounted. But apparently there are ways to mount drives to directories on an NTFS volume kinda like you do in Linux. There's this stack overflow question that might interest you if you want to go beyond 24.
