Would you upgrade from A520(Aorus elite) to B550(Aorus elite v2)?

I got (for free) from a cousin a setup that include:

Ryzen 9 5900X

6800XT

32GB 3600 RAM

2tb NVME gen4, Up to 7400MB/s read speed (that one i bought on black-friday)

 

for the upgrade i only need to pay 23% from the B550 after selling the A520

 

soooo, should i upgrade?

What would you gain with the new board? I'd keep the current board unless it causes problems here. Gen 4 doesn't really matter these days performance wize for almost all use cases.

Yes, if you enjoy building computers.

 

No, if you do not. 

 

With a new board, you have to basically rebuild the entire machine.  

 

There isn't any benefit to a new board, as you don't show anything that needs it.

 It can handle OC?

You don't OC a 5900x.  You undervolt it.
