Relax/Remove Heatware Requirement for Classifieds

Appreciate the feedback. I do agree that it is not working as intended. The Heatware requirement has been removed from the Classifieds Guidelines and will no longer be required.

I don't think the Heatware requirement for classifieds is working as intended, because after a quick survey, every user's profile (as linked from LTT Classifieds) is 0-0-0, with no feedback or (functionally) any other information. Even the site itself has like four TOTAL listings (three from the same user). Connecting to eBay has been disabled for at least nine months (as long as I've had my account), and would be the only source of reputable feedback I could point to.

 

I'd like to suggest relaxing or removing the Heatware requirement if it's at best not helping anything, and (as I see it) at worst is just being one more hoop to jump through.

 

Seems like the site is dying. Thoughts?

I don’t see many people at all using heatware, and I like the idea of instead of direct classifieds, using it as a location to post eBay or other online marketplace listings of the users own. 
My 500+ ebay feedback is a lot more important than my one feedback on heatware. 
 

Basically disallow direct for sale classifieds, only allow listings to external marketplaces with their own consumer protection.

Further nails in proverbial coffin:

 

Reddit hasn't been posted to in 2 years; last post asking "Has Heatware been totally abandoned?", other posts complain that users can't create listings.

Facebook hasn't been posted to in 6.5 years and only ever had 71 follows to begin with.

Twitter/X seems to be updated occasionally, but I don't have an account, so I can't confirm how active it is.

I agree, and as mentioned there are four total listings active on the place too right now, two of which are from 2021 and the other two from 2023 and that's it.
