Sub 400$ 55 -58 in tv

So I have been looking around to replace a TV that is close to 15 years old. I was wondering if there is a specific brand or TV model I should be looking at. It will be in a room with some light that can be blocked out. Also, I know with Super Bowl Sunday not far away in the future that's when TVs tend to have better sales on them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
