I might be a bit late to the party, perhaps about 8 years, but anyways,

I'm thinking about replacing the MX brown switches with MX silent red ones, with having to re-solder the switches, do you guys think that is feasible?

I don't see why not. Although you could consider just using QMX clips if noise is the issue. Or you could consider nicer switches if you're going through all that effort, like Bobagum or Sakurio/Roselios.
