I have yet to clean my PC out since when I got it 2013 August... I plan to do it on august again, specifically, the 7th, its when I got my PC, and my birthday lol..

I have done cable re-management,however.

When it breaks or if I happen to be become extremely bored, but I usually have enough work for it to just be when it breaks. ( I dust it every few months, but I don't think that really counts.. )

I do file management quite a bit, since I'm a little OCD, and I hardly ever dust. The only thing I really dust is my netbook.

Depends how much dust picks up, so around 1-3 months but usually 2 or 3 month for dust filters. 6 months for full maintenance (GPU fans, CPU fan, FANS EVERYWHERE!! but really, wiping the dust off, etc) and every week (auto defrag and trim) or 2 for files on drives

I take care of my tech :)

Maybe like every 3-6 months. It's difficult using a really small anti-static brush.

Then I replace the thermal paste every 2 years or so. Not that it needs it that often.

I clean my filters ever few days and if I keep that up very little dust gets into my system. Despite the filters and my best efforts dust gets into my system through other means so every four-six months(depending on dust levels) I break down my entire rig and clean the case inside and out and clean each component, this usually coincides with my windows reinstall. I'm still trying to block off all the little nooks and crannies the dust gets through but blocking them off makes the appear elsewhere. After my last attempt of blocking these incursions the addition of my blocks forced air to seep through the seams between my 5.25in bay covers. Dust gathers there and gets through, I'm still working on locating every entry point and I think I'm close. Overall however the amount that gets in is minimal and far less than what would get in if I had no filters at all.

I clean my filters like once a month or so, I did a full dusting about a month ago which was about 2 months after I got it. Main reason I dusted then was because of pine pollen, anyone that lives in an area with a lot of pines, especially loblolly pines, know that you get a thick yellow haze in mid spring lol.

every few months I replace the dust filters on the fans, make sure the internals are clean and make sure the hardware is working alright.

In terms of file system, I'm constantly reorganising.

Every day or two.

It's funny how people spend more time trying to keep their machines running than actually use them LOL

ehhhh it doesn't take that long - maybe an hour or two. And besides...I actually kind of find it therapeutic.

I know, it is always more fun to be working on it. It is an addiction and I can very much understand. Every time I set up something at home, at someone else's place or at school, I do the same. This includes networks, pcs, audio, etc...

I think the only thing I like more is customising my desktop.

I clean out my fans once a month other than that i don't really do much else to it.

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.
