CPU Fan spins in different Directions

Go to solution Solved by lafrente,

It spins the other way because the blades are oriented that way. If it would spin in the same direction as the case fan (anti-clockwise) it would push air back towards the front of the case in an inefficient way.

Sry If my my Question is a little Bit silly.

Hey, I Just noticed that my CPU Cooler Fan does Not Spin in the Same direction as my other Fans & was asking myself If I'm Losing possible cooling.

I have this PC For around 2 months now and my CPU has never Hit more than 65°. So i'm not worried about overheating or other Problems, Just want to know if i should keep it that way or Flip the Fan.

Try flipping it. Generally, cooler fans do better on intake.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

Does the fan blow air backwards?

It shouldn't matter what direction the fan blades spin, and it looks likes is designed to spin a different direction than the case fans.

It indeed blows the Air Backwards so the Airflow is one straight Line through my PC.
