advice 1070FE worth upgrading to?

I got a 1050ti + 7400 currently. Someone just posted a 1070 for 100Aud (63usd) and is willing to refund me if I'm not happy with it. Should I bite? 

 

I know there are thermal issues with the FE, but from what I can tell it has been optimized / I can just fix it by adjusting fan curves? 

 

[I'm going to build a new pc later this yr 13700k... Etc but I refuse to upgrade new gpu in the current market. I can wait.]

For that price you might as well, you'll probably make back most of the cost on the 1050 Ti alone. It'll be a ~$20-30 upgrade most likely, and at that point you might as well give it a shot.

Yes! The 1070 is a BEAST of a card for that kind of money. It's a huge improvement over the 1050.
