Low Performance With Good Computer, I don't know where my bottleneck is.

Hamknee
Go to solution Solved by Middcore,

Ultra settings are dumb. In most games high settings look indistinguishable from ultra and ultra just lowers your fps.

That said, your performance in Starfield sounds right in line with what reviewers have found.

https://www.techspot.com/review/2731-starfield-gpu-benchmark/

AMD cards have a bit of an advantage in this title right now. For reference, I have an RX 6800 and the same CPU as you and I get similar performance to what you describe at 1440p, although your card is theoretically faster than mine.

There will probably be some optimization patches that make the game run better. For now all you can do is wait. Personally I think 50-60fps is quite adequate for this game, assuming you have a variable refresh rate monitor to help smooth out the appearance of any drops.

I run Starfield 50-60 fps 1440p on RTX 3080TI and AMD RYZEN 5 5600X 6-Core Processor(AIO COOLER) I have 32 gigabytes of RAM and 12 gigs of video RAM, and I don't understand where this bottleneck is, I want to run this game at least at 100 frames, I have the newest drivers, and I played the game at ultra settings with no dlss or amd equivalent for the game, open to questions but if i had to guess my bottleneck is my processor.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

First of all I agree with everything @Middcore said above. The 5600X Is a pretty decent CPU, when running starfield look at GPU usage and CPU usage and that can tell more about where the bottleneck is if there is one. There probably is a very minor bottleneck but nothing major.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

Those are normal fps values with starfield. With my system in my sig I am getting anywhere from 40-80fps in the 30 or so minutes I've played.

just because its a good computer doesn't make it have unlimited power,  some games are more demanding/ less optimized than others.

If you're looking for bottlenecks, that's a huge one for every single title you'll come across; Ryzen likes fast memory.
