Hi guys,

Kindly recommend me a 8gb/12gb VRAM graphics card that will fit in work in my current setup and allow me to run far cry 6 and future games at 1440p. I am a casual gamer and just want to relax after work after coding all day. I am not in the USA and the budget above excludes shipping costs.

A GTX 1070 TI is a big improvement if you're looking on the used market. For new products, an RX 6600 XT or RX 6650 XT would do  nicely.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Thanks for the recommendation @Fasauceome

I notice that the graphics cards require PCI Express 4.0 but my motherboard only has PCI Express 3.0 so i am not sure it will compatible. Please correct me if I am wrong here.

PCIe 4.0 devices are able to operate in 3.0 mode, and having full PCIe bandwidth is only important on super high end cards like a 4090.

Here is a video of it being done, just so that you can be confident that it is compatible.

A new 6700XT

Or a used 6600XT since they 'should' be around 38% below MSRP (~$170) which is alot better price for a used card than most of the other cards of the generation from both AMD and Nvidia.

I would not go over a GTX 1660. Which could be still buyed new.

Not English-speaking person, sorry, I'll make mistakes. If you're kind, maybe you'll be able to understand.

If you're really kind, you'll nicely point that out so I will learn more about write in good English.  🙂

Used 6700xt/3070 at the low end and used 6800(xt)/3080(ti) at the high end depending on how lucky you get with used deals

Youll definitely have to oc that cpu to around 4.8g to make sure it isnt too much of a bottleneck, ram oc is preffered and a piece of cake at slow speeds (<2400)
