Can i combine 2 sticks of 8gb and 2 sticks of 16gb Ram?

I have a gigabyte b550m ds3h motherboard with 2 sticks of 8gb ram, and I'm looking for an upgrade. Should I just go for 2 sticks of 16gb alone or should/cloud I combine de 4 sticks together?

 

Note:

My 2 8gb sticks are: Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) DDR4-3200MHz CL16

The 2 16gb sticks would be: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200MHz CL16

You can, but I'd just get another 2x8 set so you have 32GB total.  Do you need more than that?

there's no reason why it wouldnt work, it's up to you to determine if it makes sense to upgrade to 48GB over 32GB though, depending on the cost and availability of both options, ofcourse.

I run my RAM in that configuration. The most important thing is to make sure you put one 8GB and one 16GB in each channel, so you have 24GB per channel. Basically, if your RAM is currently running in dual channel, put the new sticks in the empty slots.
