Many folks take a lot of time on their signatures, do you really read the signatures?

Not really. There was a time that I'd have my system's hardware posted as mine, but oftentimes it'd be outdated, and I'd go months if not a year or more without ever updating it. I basically just got rid of it.

Signatures are almost spam, but mostly never notice them at least.

Only when the signature pierces the eye with colors, they are really considered spam.

Pro tip: If you're not interested in viewing people's signatures you can disable them.

To disable viewing people's signatures globally:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Signatures
3. Disable View Signatures

To disable viewing individual signatures;

1. Go to the profile of the user whose signature you want to block
2. Click Ignore
3. Select Signature
4. Add user to ignore list

 

You can also click the small x to the right of signatures to ignore a signature or disable viewing signatures.

I don't mind signatures, sometime I look at the spec signatures for inspiration or just to see what folks do.

No, don't read them. I don't really notice them, I think they are covered by my brain's in built ad-blocker.

I remember a time when people would slap a massive cat pic in their sig, and the forum looked like ass because of it. I always disallowed pics in sigs on my forums, unless approved by staff. I had one lady that did nothing but review stuff for sigs, it was stupid lol

I put a great deal of effort into my signature and even I dont care about it at all lol.
