AirPods 2 vs AirPods 3

Hi all--

 

For my sister's birthday I want to get her a new pair of AirPods.  Her's stopped working and they are the original AirPods.  I wanted to get her the third gens but I was reading online that people have been having problems with the fit of them.  I am currently between the AirPods 2 and 3.  If anyone has any input on which way I should go I would appreciate it

I had the Airpods 3 and it's trash. The fit is indeed a problem. The sound is also not that good too so I returned it. I had the Airpods 2 and it's one of the most comfortable earbuds I had. I gave them to my sister as I got the Sony WF-XM4. She loves the comfort of the Airpods 2 too.
