Lethalviperr

I don't get it, why get the lousier card? If you can afford it, always get the better ones. No regrets bro :(

I have the Gigabyte 7950 (revision 1 880mhz core, not voltage locked), and also a 1080p lcd,.. you would not need the 7970 because the 7950 provides ample fps in all games you can throw at it.

If you dont overclock I'd still recommend this card or other models of the 7950 over the 7970, but if you do OC, then your going to most likely get just under or over 7970 performance levels doing so.

I'm at 1100/1550 core/memory clocks and can go further to 1250/1785 but its a sweet spot for noise and temps. Mine is loading at 61*c @ 60% fan speed, pleasing results from this overclocked 7950.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

7950, overclocks really well and gives you the best bang for your buck.
