Im pretty sure admins will only change your name if it is inappropriate or something. They dont do it by request.

Yes. They have changed it for various reasons. @Noire's name used to be NoireMK2, but he didn't like that. So they changed it.

 

@Lord Pantaloons's name used to be MrPants, but they changed that because he didn't like it.

As long as you can make a valid compelling argument there is hope for getting it changed if there isn't a logical reason i wouldn't expect much help
