Can this bent pin be straitened, or should i give up , i just got new cpu r5 3600

i do not fix cpus but my general knowledge brain says that if you get some needlenose pliers and squeeze it, it might straighten out

You should be able to straighten it out if you massage it enough.

Easily done with tweezers, just be patient and super careful.

If it's more than one bent pin, it might be better to get a different CPU, but fixing one is no issue

It can be straightened. Small pliers or tweezers. Just try not to bend other pins in the process. Keep in mind it doesn't need to be perfect, just needs to be close enough to go in the socket again. The socket will help straighten things up some too. Just get it pretty close (as close as you can), and don't force anything in the socket. Just take your time with it.

A mechanical pencil large enough to fit over the pin would straighten that out.

Yeah you have bigger problems than a bent pin.

Indeed they do.

That chip is probrably dead with the PCB peeled back like that.
The pin itself is an easy fix.

It's the OP's call whether to fix the pin and try it or write it off as a loss - There is a risk of frying the board with this chip as it is now with that corner of the PCB folded back.

the cpu is working just its not reading the second ram slot idk if its for the bent pin in the middle or the corner but the corner was damaged  before and was working fine as per store
