EK fittings with Corsair satin tubes?

Greetings everyone,

In my build I'd like to use the EK Quantum Torque 14mm HDC fittings but I dont really like the EK tubing too much, I'd prefer to go with the Corsair satin ones.

Looking online they both looks to be 10/14 ID/OD, but some people say they are a really hard fit due to the EK ones being 13.9mm OD while the Corsair are exactly 14mm.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I buy some tubes that I can use?

Thanks.

there is a rubber o-ring inside fittings, with enough lube and a bit of force it will fit. however make sure you trim the edges of the tubes nice and smooth. otherwise you might damage the o-rings. also make sure you do a leak/pressure test before you start you rig.

@Veehxia - JayzTwoCents updated his personal build recently using Corsair tubes with EK Torque fittings and I believe they were 10/14's. I asked something similar to you in the comments regarding using EK 10/12 fittings with Corsair 10/12 PMMA tubes but alas; I didn't get a reply. I currently use PETG and I'm interested in the ability of PMMA to produce tighter/neater bends.

Well I don't use EK fittings but the Corsair PMMA is nice. I have it in white.

EK can't spec and manufacture a proper OD/ID on any of their stuff to save their life. Its why so many people also have issues using EK's ZMT with other brand compression fittings.
