Good system with bad gear because that's what I've been using the past 5 months. $20 mouse (recently upgraded to the G502), 4-5 year old Acer keyboard, no microphone, and a 1360x768 monitor (going to upgrade to a dual monitor setup soon).

I have a pretty awesome system and then alienware keyboard and a rat 7, im living in the first option already.

I have a decent system, yet still use £5 Logitech peripherals.

However, I have a great love for the B110 mouse, I just find it so good for the price.

Guess I'll be the sole vote for good peripherals and bad system. I spend the most money on gear I interact with, trying to find perfection. I can deal with a lesser system.

I would much rather have a good system and crap peripherals, that said I have an M95 and a K70 on a AMD Phenom II x4... so yeah... there's that...

what classifies a "good" system most of good v. bad is point of view to some a good system is one that can play games with a mid level gpu and a i5 and another view is quad titan z's and a 6ghz extreme edition (if anyone could afford that). so i can't vote and yes i'm one of those people if you ask to joke i ask how high.

Of those choices, I'd prefer to have the things I'm constantly touching be high quality. I can live with a system that's not quite up to snuff.

Depends, but probably a decent system. You can get used to bad gear, while bad performance will always be super annoying.

I lived with a good system with a cheap Logitech wireless mouse and an OEM keyboard from 2008 for years...didn't stop me from getting killstreaks in TF2

It really depends on how extreme, I mean if the peripherals were so bad, they barely worked, then I would prefer a bad system.

I live up to my vote of good system and bad gear.  Going by this statement with my 7ish year old monitor, 12 year old monitor, and a keyboard that came with my mom's off the shelf system.
